Writing component:
You will need a written thesis in class on your first working lab day. Your thesis should be arguable and academic in nature, demonstrating deep understanding and analysis of the texts in accordance to the question. You also must include a bulleted list of specific facts you intend to use to support your thesis. By specific, I do not mean "use example from history." By specific, I mean: "Okonkwo is in a position of power because the people highly respect him and he is a good farmer, but his own hubris leads to his exile which leads to his inevitable downfall." (summarize points from the texts you want to use)
